		<description>I personally hate the sound of new guitar strings.  This has to do, I think, with the particular stratocaster I use, which is already very very bright.  New strings are way too treble to the point of being painful on that guitar.  I love the warm sound of old greasy strings that have been percolating for a few months.  I change my strings about once a year, and I hate the sounds I get the first few weeks.  It totally sucks.  But to each his own.</description>
