My name is Matt Van Stone and I live in Calgary Alberta. Thats in Canada eh. I have been playing guitar for about 7 years now give or take. I taught myself to play mostly using online resources like tabulature and chord files. My first guitar was a Yamaha acoustic which I still have. I also own an Epiphone Les Paul with EMG 81/85 pickups. When I started playing guitar I mostly played grunge. My favorite bands were Nirvana, Alice in Chains, and Soundgarden. Since then I have moved through phases of Classic Rock, Blues, Hard Rock, and am now mostly playing metal.
