Welcome to Guitar Stuff - a blog about guitars, gear, music, and news by Matt Van Stone.

When I originally started Guitar Stuff I intended it to be a blog where I could write whatever I wanted to about guitars. However, I haven’t been able to restrict myself to only guitar talk. I have wanted to write about all the great things that I have been exposed to because I’m a guitarist. As a result I write posts on a wide variety of topics from guitar gear, to lessons, to music and videos, to just random side stuff that sometimes is not even marginally related to music.

My favorite thing about talking about guitar and music with people is that I am always being exposed to new things. I guess that is my hope with Guitar Stuff. I hope that somewhere along the line I might be able to expose someone to something new that changes the way they think about, or listen to, or create music. At the same time I encourage people to use the comments to continue the conversation. I want to be exposed too!

I try and keep up with guitar and music related news that I am interested in and that I think others might be too. If I find anything especially interesting I will post it.
